ECPAT Chat
Sticky Beat has developed a custom chat platform for DittECPAT, designed to provide young people with a safe and secure space to seek support. The chat offers a user-friendly and confidential environment where individuals can connect with trained professionals to discuss issues related to online exploitation, privacy, and safety. By integrating seamless communication tools, we aim to help ECPAT better reach and assist those in need, ensuring timely and effective support.
The Chat Experience
We've designed an intuitive onboarding process where kids answer a few simple questions before entering the chat—completely anonymously. Once they're in, they can talk to an adult who listens, supports, and offers guidance, all while remaining 100% confidential. Every interaction is safe, secure, and tailored to make young people feel comfortable and heard. We’ve recently modified the chat to make it even more accessible. Now, users can have messages read aloud and leave reactions so they easily can express how they feel with just a simple tap. These features are designed to create a more comfortable and supportive experience for every child who reaches out.
Vuxenstöd
At Sticky Beat, we have also created ECPAT’s Vuxenstöd Chat, designed for those navigating challenging situations. Built with care and attention, the platform connects adults with ECPAT's experienced and compassionate team, who are ready to offer professional and empathetic support when it’s needed most.
ECPAT in short
ECPAT Sverige is a leading organization focused on combating the sexual exploitation of children in Sweden and globally. Through advocacy, education, and collaboration with authorities, they work to prevent trafficking, online abuse, and other forms of child exploitation. ECPAT Sverige also provides support to victims and works actively to influence laws and policies to better protect children. Their mission is to create a safer environment for every child, both online and offline.
Interactive Waiting Room
To ensure that as few children as possible leave the chat before receiving help, we have developed an interactive waiting room. The waiting room, called Vänthörnan, offers engaging and supportive content designed to keep young users connected and calm while they wait for assistance. By creating a safe, interactive space, we aim to reduce anxiety and encourage children to stay in the queue until ECPAT professionals can provide the help they need.
Custom administration system
The team at ECPAT needed a tool that didn’t just function well but actually made their job easier. That’s why we built a completely custom admin system for their advisors, designed from the ground up to be simple, efficient, and user-friendly. It helps the advisors stay focused on what really matters—offering meaningful help to the children they chat with. No unnecessary clutter, just a streamlined system that lets them connect, support, and make a difference. Key metrics including interaction counts, gender, and age are documented by advisors, enabling the collection of valuable statistics for continuous improvement of the service
